@joeguiffre nope, but if you use headphones, the theta and alpha waves go directly into your head, their vibrations work much bettter because you are surrounded by these sounds

I think when they are heard through speakers the frequencies get dispersed in the air. When you wear headphones it can be directly transferred to your ears, so then they are easier for your ears to hear them and your brain can respond better.
I didn’t do any research on it or anything, just personal experience.
